How to Install & Use StockChartGrabber 

Download the zip file to your desktop 

Extract the files to your computer

Double-Click the Chartgrabber.hta file to run the main program

Click the browse button to open a ticker source file or enter your own ticker symbols or both…

Check each check-box to choose your charting periods

Click on the Grab Charts button to generate your list of charts

After a few seconds, StockChartGrabber grabs your favorite charts and displays them in your browser window.

StockChartGrabber has other features which allow you to customize your charting experience. 

Use your favorite chart provider – You can choose any web based chart source and with some minor editing, StockChartGrabber will get your favorite charts instead of the default chart source.  Explore our other custom chart source files located in the Custom URL Files folder (included in your download), or create your own by using one of ours as an example. 

Easily create your own ticker sources – You can also use your own ticker sources. Creating them is easy. Simply create a text file and add a comma seperated list of ticker symbols of your choosing. 

For example – you can copy this list of ticker symbols to a text file and save it in a text file:
AAPL,RIMM,HPQ,IBM,YHOO,GOOG 

Save the file and use it as your ticker source file in StockChartGrabber.  It’s that easy! 

If you followed our example, you have just created a new ticker source file. When you save the file as a .txt file, you might name this one “My Favorite Tech Stocks.txt”. Then the next time you use StockChartGrabber, choose this file as your chart source and when you click Grab Charts, your selected charts will appear in your browser for easy analysis.
